I'm going to tell you about my thoughts about this awesome book I read, Matilda. Ok~ So you propably would have read this book . I thought Maltilda was unfortunate because she had very lame and uneducated parents. In a way having super powers is a amazing and
exciting, but I think that If you are the only one with the super power
you won't be able to live in a normal way. So I thought having super powers isn't always cool. This story was very humorous and funny because of the trouble Matilda went into. I enjoyed this book and I reccomend this book to 3~5 graders.

Do you know a genius girl who has extrasensory perception? She's Matilda. Her parents are Mr and Mrs Wormwood. They also had a son called Michael. Michael was just a normal boy, but Matilda was different. Her speech was pefect at the age of one and a half. When Matilda was three she taught herself to read by studying newpaper and magazines. She was a genius girl. But she was little late in starting school. She was five and a half when she entered school for the first time. The school in the village for Matilda was Crunchem Hall Primary School. Matilda was put in the bottom class, their teacher was called Miss Honey, she was mild and quiet person. But Miss Trunchbull wasn't. Miss Trunchbull was so mean, and she hates kids. She even throw student to the window. Besides, Trunchbull grabed Amanda's pig tails, and she swung her and she threw her far away. Oneday, Matilda knew that she has a extrasensory perception. Matilda and her friends wanted to expel Trunchbull. Because of extrasensory perception, Matilda could expel Trunchbull. Then Matilda lived with Miss Honey happily.

     I thought that Matilda is so poor. Because, her parents are so mean to her. But she has some good things too. For example, she has extrasensory perception, and also she are genius! So I envy her. I want to have extrasensory perception like her. If I have a chance to get extrasensory perception, I want to get immortal, and also, I want to get flying extrasensory perception. Because, when I get immortal, I can use the future stuff. And if I can fly, I can go another country without airplane, so I can save the money. Then I can go foreign country very often. I want to be psychic!!!

Fantastic Mr. fox

 


                 Fantastic Mr.fox

    Can you imagine if the fox has equivalent intelligence with a human? It is impossible, but Fantastic Mr. fox can. He is just a normal fox, but he is very smart, so he always salt down farmers (Boggis, Bunce, Bean) by stealing foods. He steals food at Boggis, Bunce, Bean's farm. Their three are rich men, but they're also nasty, and very mean. Boggis is a chicken farmer, he kept thousands of chickens. Bunce is a duck-and-goose farmer. He kept thousands of ducks and geese. Bean is a turkey-and-apple farmer. He also kept thousands of turkeys in an orchard full of apple trees. He makes strong cider which is made from his apple. Fantastic Mr. fox was going to steal some foods at that night like the other days. But, 'Bang! Bang! Bang!' farmers shot off Mr. fox's tail. Then they started to dig Mr. fox's house with the machine. Mr. fox and their family started to dig, and escape their house. They dig, and dig, and dig..... suddenly, Mr. fox found Boggis's chicken farm. They started to kill chickens to steal. Then they found Bunce's giant storehouse. They steal roasted duck and geese again. And finally, they found Bean's secret cider cellar. Starting to stealing, but a huge woman was coming down to cellar. They hide quickly. And escape the danger. When they came back home, they had party. Outside the fox's hole, stupid three farmers were waiting with they guns on their laps. It was beginning to rain. They sat there by the hole, waiting for the fox to come out. And they are still waiting. What a stupid farmer that is! I can't understand about that farmers behavior. And they're so stupid to competition with Mr. fox. It is just as well that Mr. fox won the nasty farmers. I am so happy because Mr. fox won of the end of the story. I think Roald Dahl is imaginative because he thinked of Mr. fox, and the other characters and stories. I recommend this book to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! (except adults)

smart Polly and stupid wolf. But I think that Polly is also stupid. Because when the wolf got trap in the zoo cage Polly help the wolf. The wolf always try to eat Polly. I understand that the wolf is poor but it's trying to eat you Polly so I think Polly is also stupid.

Tuesday of the other June
I read this book and I thought it was a nice book about ways to fight bullies.
By saying fighting bullies it isn't the physical fighting. The main character June T. has a tough time on Tuesdays at her swimming lessons because of another kid called June M. calling her names and pinching and hitting her.
Well at the end June T. stood up for her self when June M. was threatening her with a sharp pencil June T. said out loud "no! no! no! NO MORE!". June M. got surprised and her eye balls looked as if it would pop out. The kids in the class laughed at June M.. I don't really understand why June T. was afraid of June M. because just because June T. said "no! no! no! NO MORE!" June M. backed down and she didn't bully June T. anymore.
If she had done that before she wouldn't have had to have a hard time in swimming lessons and at school after she moved.
So if I were her I would have sternly said to her to stop.
I recommend this book. It is fun but you may get to know the felling of getting bullied.

Nadia the Willful

Nadia the Willful


I read a book called Nadia the 'Willful'.
Nadia is stubborn and had a flashing temper.
Her father sheik Tarik was the leader of Bedouin.
They always livd in dessert form oasis to oasis.
Tarik had a favorite son named Hamed. Only he could calm Nadia down.
One day Hamed went to find grazing ground for sheep
but he never came back. Tarik was broken hearted of he loss of his favorite son. He forbid people to say Hamed's name for he would punish the people who say his name. But Nadia started talking about Hamed with other people. Her father found out about it and was about to punish those people but Nadia opened her father's heart by talking about the happy memories of Hamed.
I disagree on Tarik's attitude because just because Hamed died I don't think I is a right thing to forget about it. By trying to forget about Hamed, it is trying to forget all the happy memories about Hamed. And evern if Hamed died He wouldn't want people to forget about him, for once he was a very kind and gentle friend to lots of people. If a beloved person die it is bound to hurt, but as time flow you would get used to it.
There for, I strongly disagree about Tarik forgetting about Hamed.

ELEVEN

         A book I would like to introduce is 'ELEVEN' written by Sandra Cisneros. This is about a girl who become eleven. Even you're eleven, sometimes you can't realize that. You might think you're still ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Maybe sometimes you need mama to hug her when you're scared, that's the kind of you that's six. Oneday, Mrs. Price saw the sweater. She asked to the students, "Whose is this?". Everyone said, "Not mine". It was a ugly sweater with red plastic buttons and a collar and sleeves all stretched out. But, that stupid Sylvia Saldivar says, "I think it belongs to Rachel."It was not Rachel's, but any words didn't come out at her mouth. Mrs, Price put the sweater at Rachel's desk. She was so grudge about it. Everyone would undergo something unfair in life. I undergoed many things that are unfair, so I can understand Rachel's feeling. And I remebered about my action like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 years old. Sometimes, I action like 3, or 7. But most of all I act like 11. It got me thinking in many ways by reading this story. I recommend this story to 5 grade students.

Eleven


Eleven

This is a story about a kid named Rachel who had her 11th birthday. The meaning of a birthday is a date when you were born, which you celebrate each year. Even if you turn eleven you might still feel like 10,9,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 years old. Some times when your sad you might need your moms shoulder to cry on, that's when you would feel like 7. The story goes like this, one the Rachel's 11th birthday she went to the school. The teacher asked the students whom the filthy sweater belonged to. So that stupid Sylvia said that it was the Rachel's sweater, which wasn't. The teacher believed Sylvia and gave it o the kid but no words came out of the Rachel's mouth. Rachel was upset and gloomy that day. I think everybody would've felt like Rachel, some time in there lives. When ever they express there emotions (weather it's a happy feeling or a sad feeling) there would be a different part of our selves in me. Sometimes I would feel like 11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 and 1 years old depending on your mood. I think the author wrote this story because every body has these kind of experiences, so the book would remind you(the readers) of your past. When I was reading this book I thought the writer wrote the kid's emotions in a creative way. readers who are reading this right now I recommend this book
'Eleven".
